Happy Pixels — Privacy Policy
Draft version · last updated 4 November 2026
This policy explains how the Happy Pixels app ("the app") handles personal data. It applies to the app only. For this website, see the website privacy policy.
Status: the app is not yet released. This policy describes the current development build and will be checked against the final release build before publication on any app store.
1. Who is responsible
- Controller
- [To be confirmed: legal name of the operator (person or company)]
- Address
- [To be confirmed: postal address]
- office@palmshift.info
2. Summary
In its first version, Happy Pixels stores your entries only on your device. This policy is a draft and will be finalised against the release build.
3. What the app does with data
- Moods, notes, photos and voice memories are stored locally on your device.
- If you add a photo or voice memory, the app asks for access to your photos or microphone. You can decline and still use the app.
- Entries are not sent to us or to third parties in the first version.
- Any future cloud backup or premium feature will be optional and described here before it launches.
4. App stores
When you download the app, Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) process data such as your account and device information under their own privacy policies. We do not receive this data in identifiable form.
5. Children
[To be confirmed: target age group / age rating for this app, and any age-related measures]
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Because the app stores data on your device, you can usually exercise these rights directly in the app (for example by deleting your data or uninstalling the app). You can always contact us atoffice@palmshift.info.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is theDatenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
7. Changes
If a future version adds optional online features (for example cloud backup), this policy will be updated before that version is released and will explain exactly what changes.
